One of my favorite changes this year is the idea of an all-digital presentation process. An interactive Google Doc was created for presenters to post links and be able to connect with attendees. This also made the login process not necessary by having all your links on one doc even if you were posting across multiple sessions. If you couldn’t make it and want to see the sessions you can go here.

I had a great time presenting about the creative uses of Adobe Express in a classroom, the wonderful PD and tools in Adobe Edu Exchange, how I have leveraged my Twitter feed as a PLN, and what I learned leading Cinemania at my school this year.
I also had the chance to meet Adobe Education Evangelists Wezi Thindwa and Jesse Lubinski during the day. We even got to share a pack of Ale8One courtesy of 2021 KY TOY Donnie Percy.

During the after-lunch session, I got to be a part of a presentation with 2 of my co-workers as they talked about our school’s first year using a yearlong Digital Portfolio via Google Sites. Hint: It’s not just about ELA standards.
It was great to see friends and meet up with #TeacherTwitter colleagues. A big thank you to FCPS OIT for hosting and Kelly Fischer for putting it all together.

If you are still looking for great PD, I highly recommend the #KyGoDigital Conference. CONNECT with #KYGoDigital THIS Summer! This is an exciting VIRTUAL EVENT of CONNECTING & SHARING for teachers, ed-tech enthusiasts, school leaders, and district leaders who want to learn from others around the STATE!
